Local Stockists
Shopping locally keeps food connected to the people and land that produce it. By choosing to buy directly from farmers or through our local stockists, you support small-scale British agriculture, strengthen rural livelihoods, and keep money circulating within the local economy. Local food reduces unnecessary transport, improves transparency, and allows farmers to focus on quality, animal welfare, and responsible land management rather than volume alone. Visiting and supporting local stockists helps build resilient communities and ensures good food remains rooted in place.
Here are a few you can visit:
OLD SPOT Butchery
At Pasture to Plate, we are proud to work with skilled local butchers such as Old Spot Butchery, to bring our customers the highest quality meat.
All of our livestock is free-range and pasture-fed, raised with a strong focus on animal welfare and careful land stewardship. By working closely with experienced butchers, we ensure the animals we raise are handled and prepared with the same level of care and respect, resulting in exceptional quality meat.
Old Spot Butchery works with whole carcasses, preparing everything from traditional cuts to handmade sausages and marinades in their shop. Their commitment to traditional butchery and craftsmanship ensures our meat is presented at its very best.
Old Spot is owned and run by Sean Maher, an experienced butcher with a passion for food, wine and cooking. Sean and his team are always happy to offer advice on the best cuts to choose and how to prepare them. He lives in Westerham with his wife and their bulldog, Baxter.
